Who We Are and the Team we Support
Gary L. Adams has been a Certified Tool and Die Maker for 38 years. He has provided his technical skills to several high-profile Machine Tool companies in the Erie area prior to becoming President of Darr Industries Group,LLC. He has specialized on complete process injection molding lines, including all the precision molds, the pneumatic precision handling equipment, the product assembly process, and the final assembly of the product, ready for packaging. In varing capacities with the other firms, he was in charge of correcting product line manufacturing errors and attempting to correct and salvage the product rather than it being consider scrap. His ability to work with engineering, purchasing, and quality control personell is an extreme asset to his position.
John "Skip" Darr who has become semi-retired since the company he developed was purchased, provides his almost 60 years of Engineering and on-hand job experience to us on a on-call basis. His refined skills are available when additional production is required, and he is regularly works with us on larger or more complicated projects.
Kenneth S. Benjamin is the principal of The Benjamin Company who, since 1968, has serviced the Power Generation, Oil Sands, Heavy Oil, Solar, Wind Oil Production, Water Waste Treatment, Semi-Conductor, Industrial Heating, Machine Tool, Space, Mining, Locomotive, Chemical, Nuclear, Press, Renewable Energy, Steel, Paper and Plastic Injection industries.
Navin Mathur is the principal of the Industrial Technologies International and has provided on-site services, including machining, to the Middle East for over 22 years. He has directed his efforts in the area of Oil Well Supply and Transmission, as well as the Electrical Transmission and Distribution areas. In this capacity he has assisted in defining the necessary sub-components, parts and assembly devices which are required to continue these off-shore activities.
The Darr Team consists of the 2 principals as well as Gary Adams and Skip Darr, providing quotation inputs and project analysis. We are further backed up by The Benjamin Company. Our Factory Representative "Ken Benjamin" provides the ability for Darr Industries to maintain a presence with world-class customers in all of the aforementioned industries as well as the Heavy Machinery Industry in general. Representative "Navin Mathur" provides innovative prototype projects to our shop, which furthers our visibility to the Oil and Electrical Industry in the Middle East.
